The Aston Warriors Women’s Rugby League Team launches in 2026, marking an important step in the club’s continued growth and commitment to inclusivity. The team has been established to support the expansion of women’s rugby league in Birmingham and the Midlands, providing a structured and supportive environment for female players.

Based at Aston Old Edwardians Rugby Club, the women’s side welcomes both experienced players and those new to rugby league. The focus is on skill development, fitness, and enjoyment of the game, while competing within the regional league framework. Aston Warriors is proud to offer clear pathways for women to play, develop, and succeed in rugby league. The team reflects the club’s values of respect, opportunity, and ambition.

Training sessions run on Wednesday’s 6:00pm til 7:00pm during the summer season. These sessions are open to everyone, regardless of experience aged 17+
